EL Javea Town Hall, through its Department of Services, has enabled a roundabout at the end of the access road to the Creek of La Barraca with the intention of solving the traffic problems that are experienced in the days of maximum affluence.
This roundabout will facilitate the exit maneuvers of the cars. Likewise, it has acted in municipal areas to gain some parking spaces, as well as labeling area reserved for motorcycles and for people with reduced mobility and the parking area of the cove has been repainted.
Access to La Granadella
In relation to the access to the coves, Services has also conditioned a municipal area in the La Guardia Park urbanization as a reception point for bathers who drop this summer on public transport to the Creek Granadella.
As it was done last summer, the Town Council of Xàbia will regulate the access at peak hours to this beach with a barrier, which will be lowered when the parking on foot of the beach is complete and will offer as an alternative a free tourist train.
This regulation will come into effect in the coming days when the bidding process of this public transport ends. Until then, access to Granadella It is open all day.
