The Department of Beaches together with the Red Cross of Xàbia have started the surveillance and lifeguard operation for the 2024 season on the occasion of Holy Week and Easter.
The operation has been launched in the Arenal Beach starting this Thursday and will continue until next April 1. In addition, there will also be surveillance from April 5 to 8.
The surveillance hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m. and will have three lifeguards, a coordinator and the rescue boat.
In the month of May, the operation will be resumed for the bridge on the occasion of Worker's Day and local holidays in honor of Jesús Nazareno, from May 1 to 5, and will be active on the weekends of May: 11 and 12, 18 and 19, 25 and 26, from 11:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m.
