At 12 noon, today, Thursday, May 3, a mass was celebrated in honor of Jesus Nazareno. Mass that has also served as a farewell to the image until next year. After about two months in the Church of St. Bartholomew, the image of the Nazarene returns this afternoon, in procession, to the Calvary Chapel.
In the Eucharist, the parish presented an absolute fullness. The parishioners and authorities have come to the solemn mass in which, as usual, the diplomas and medals have been handed out to the mayorals and the 2019 mayorals have been appointed next year.
La Mascletà it put an end to the morning's events. The end of the party will be this evening with the procession of the Nazarene to the Ermita del Calvario and the firing of the fireworks.
