Jesús Nazareno returns to the Church of San Bartolomé accompanied by hundreds of neighbors

One more year, and as is tradition, every third Sunday of Lent, the image of Jesus the Nazarene has been carried in procession from the Calvary Chapel to Church of St. Bartholomew. Hundreds of neighbors accompanied the Nazarene in the well-known Bajada procession.

Jesús Nazareno was accompanied by the image of La Dolorosa. The arrival of both images at the Plaza de la Iglesia had a special moment, the ringing of the new bells.

The Nazarene will remain in the Parish until next May 3 when he returns to the Hermitage after celebrating the festivities in his honor.
