The streets of Xàbia were filled with people, color, music and a good atmosphere with the Offering of flowers to Jesús Nazareno. An act that was massive. Hundreds of people, associations and festive entities participated in this event that marks the end of the festivities.
From the street, hundreds of people watched with joy the parade that ran through the historic center until it arrived at the St. Bartholomew Church where the image of Jesus Nazareno is located to deposit the flowers.
For today Wednesday, in which Xàbia lives its big day of these festivities, the solemn Eucharist sung by Grupo Folk will be celebrated, at 12:00 p.m. and at the end the diplomas will be awarded to the mayorales of this year and they will be raffled those of the next Next, a thunderous 'mascletà' will be fired in the Plaza de la Constitución.
And to end the 2023 festivities in honor of Jesús Nazareno, a mass will be held at 19:00 p.m. and after it, the solemn procession of Ascent of the image of the Nazarene to the Hermitage of Calvari. At the end of the party, a fireworks display will be set off.
