For this 2024, the festivities in honor of Jesús Nazareno have the traditional and complete program of festivities. As usual, it starts with the traditional blood donation and ends with the procession of raising the image of Jesus Nazareno to the Calvary Chapel.
Wednesday, April 24, 2024
- 17:00 hours: Blood donation at the Xàbia health center until 20:30 p.m. Delivery of the party book to the attendees.
25 Thursday April
- 20:00 hours: Assembly and placement of cadafals and barriers in the Placeta del Convent and Ronda Colón until 21:00 p.m. The Brotherhood requests the collaboration of all the owners with the presence of two people in charge of each cadafal.
Wednesday 26 for April
- 10:00 hours.- Cadafales review by the technician.
- 18:45 hours.- Entry of bulls and heifers. Cali Livestock.
- 19:00 hours.- Release of heifers and bull. El Coves Livestock.
- 19:00 hours. Afternoon with mobile disco organized by the filà capitana 2024 'Baharis'. There will be bar service with food and drinks until 03:00 a.m.
- 20:00 hours. Presentation of the XXII Festival Xàbia Follk 2024 with the performance of KRAMA in the House of Culture. Free entrance.
- 21:15.- Entry of bulls and heifers. La Paloma Livestock.
Saturday April 27
- 11:00 hours. Young Orchestra Concert of the Center Artístic Musical Xàbia 'Spring Concert'. Portal del Clot Multipurpose Room. Free entrance.
- 17:00 hours. XL Jesus Nazarene Trophy. Cycling Tour. Challenge cadets scoring test. Departure from the Plaza de la Constitución and finish at C/ Ángel Doménech.
- 17:30 hours. Children's theater 'Story of a sock' at the House of Culture. Admission €3.
- 17:30 hours. Release of 'carretons' in the bullfighting area for the little ones.
- 18:00 hours. Afternoon organized by the Fogueres Commission. There will be bar service with food and drinks until 03:00 a.m.
- 18:45 hours. Entry of bulls and heifers. La Paloma Livestock.
- 19:00 hours. Release of heifers and bull. La Paloma Livestock.
- 20:30 hours. XXII Coral Ars Nova Festival, 'Coral Ars Armonium' from Oriola, 'Cor Carmesina' from Gandia and 'Ars Nova' will perform. Church of Sant Bertomeu. Free entrance.
- 21:15 hours. Entry of bulls and heifers. La Hermandad Livestock.
Sunday April 28

NIGHT OF SAINETES: 'I don't like to criticize' and 'Mortes de fam', represented by the group VALENTES I POSITIVES from Pedreguer, in the Plaza de la Constitución, with the participation of the monologist Pepa Ferrero. Donation: €5, to benefit the Spanish Association against Cancer. Ticket sales start at 17:00 p.m., at the location of the farce in the Plaza de la Constitución.

- 19:00 hours. Triduum to Jesus Nazarene in suffrage of Juan Bta. Bolufer Cruañes.
- 19:30 hours. Solidarity concert in favor of Aspanión children with cancer, in the tent of the Plaza de la Constitución. Performance by the Young Band from the Artístic Musical center of Xàbia and Xicotets Ars Nova. Ticket sales at tourism offices and in the tent itself. Zero row. There will be bar service.
- 22:30 hours. Sainete in the Plaza de la Constitución with the play 'La caiguda del balcó' represented by the 'Grup de teatre Tot Rist' of the Mare de Deu del Loreto commission.
Wednesday, May 1: Children's Day
- In the 8: 30 hours. 'Despertà amb dolçaina i tabalet' that will tour the streets of the town. Next, in the Plaza de la Constitución, snacks for the children. There will be bar service. - 20:00 hours. Parade with 'dolçaina i tabalet' and the Tuna of Xàbia to visit the crosses and shop windows with the Brotherhood and the authorities. Departure from the Plaza de la Iglesia and ending on Avenida Jaime I.
Event: Thursday May 2st
- 11:00 hours. Visit the elderly at the Day Center, who will each be given a small gift.
- 11:30 hours. Visit the elderly of the Cholbi Brothers Asylum, who will each be given a small gift.

- 19:00 hours. Triduo to Jesús Nazareno in favor of Rev. Mr. Juan Esteve Domingo, Rev. Mr. José Soler Mulet, Rev. Mr. Juan Celda Visitación, Rev. Mr. Joaquín Sendra Benavent.
- 20:15 hours. Offering of Flowers to Jesus Nazareno. All boys and girls, festival committees, clubs, associations, etc. are invited to this event. and the entire neighborhood in general. (Departure from Plaza Marina Alta)
- 22:30 hours. Fogueres de Sant Joan 75th anniversary events. 'The evolution of the way of dressing at the party'. Parade of traditional dresses from Xàbia.
Wednesday May 3: Ascent of Jesús Nazareno
- 07:30 hours.- General ringing of bells
- 08:00 hours.- 'Despertà' by the band of the Xàbia Artistic Musical Center
- 12:00.- Concelebrated Solemn Eucharist sung by the Parish Choir. At the end, diplomas will be awarded to this year's mayorales. Next 'Mascletà' in the Plaza de la Constitución.
- 19:00 hours.- Evening Mass especially for the sick and handicapped, followed by a solemn procession with the image of Jesus of Nazareth. At the end shot of a fireworks display.
Saturday May 4
- 19:30 hours.- Mass in suffrage of the deceased Brothers to which we invite all the faithful of the Parish of San Bartolomé.
Sunday May 5
- 11:00 hours. Fogueres 75th anniversary events Workshop on traditional Valencian hairstyles in the Multipurpose Room of Portal del Clot. Limited places, prior registration at the House of Culture.
- 11:30 hours. Professional Valencian ball game in the trinquet (separate program).
Saturday May 11
- 20:00 hours.- Mass in the hermitage of Calvary in thanksgiving. Farewell to the foremen of this year and delivery of medals to those of 2025.
