This Sunday, March 24, as tradition marks, the third Sunday of Lent, the image of Jesus Nazareno will be transferred in procession from the hermitage of Calvario to St. Bartholomew's Church of Xàbia. The image of the Nazarene, accompanied by hundreds of neighbors, faithful and authorities, will leave with the Virgen de los Dolores at 19:3 p.m. from the hermitage to travel the usual itinerary to the town, where it will remain until May XNUMX.
The program of liturgical celebrations that accompany their arrival is organized by the Brotherhood of Ladies and include two solemn masses, Monday 25 and Sunday 31 March (both at 12 hours), plus a novena.
Today some of the brothers have met with the mayor, José Chulvi, And the Councilor for Services, Kika Mata, to deliver the program and finalize some organizational issues.
