Sailor Violeta del Reino, first leader of Hansa 303 in the 'V Olympic Week' sailing

The sailor, Violeta del Reino, is the one who occupies the leadership of the Hansa 303 class of the V Olympic Week that began this Thursday in waters of the bay of Xàbia. A total of 14 boats left on this first day of comxicotetion, being the best, Violeta del Reino of the CV Puerto Andratx.

The second position is occupied by his club mate, Sergio Roig and the third place is for Daniel Llaca of the Real Club Nautico de Gran Canaria.

The participants enjoyed ideal conditions for sailing, with a sea with hardly any waves and mild winds between 10 and 12 knots. The first races were held in the area near the Cape San Antonio and after rolling the wind they moved to the center of the bay.

For its part, the fleet of 2.4mR has made a training in order that the sailors knew the bay and the sea conditions in Xàbia. It will be tomorrow Saturday when these sailors go out to compete. The participants will be 12 in total.

At the end of the test, the sailors and their companions enjoyed the Village in the area of ​​the Sailing School of Club Nautico de Javea, with drinks and refreshments as well as pizzas and the accompaniment of the local group Happy Freuds

La V Olympic Week It is organized by the Sailing Federation of the Region, the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation, the Generalitat Valenciana and the nautical clubs of Valencia, Torrevieja, Alicante and Jávea and forms part of the Spanish pre-Olympic circuit promoted by the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation.
