Gustavo Gastaldi, absolute winner of the Sir Thomas Lipton Trophy of the Jávea Yacht Club

El Club Náutico Jávea This weekend closed the 49th edition of the Sailing Week, the club's big week, which has brought together more than 300 sailors including children's sailing, surfboards and cruiser class sailors. On Saturday the awards ceremony was held, which was chaired by the mayoress of Xàbia, Rosa Cardona.

The great winner was Gustavo Gastaldi's Team Tac, who was the absolute winner of the Sir Thomas Lipton trophy and who also won the Commodore trophy, in the ORC1 category.

While in the Sir Thomas Lipton Club Trophy the best was Little Nellie owned by Alejandro Sánchez CN Jávea, and in the Regatta event the best in ORC 2 was Lassal owned by Gonzalo Calvo RCN Valencia and in ORC 1 it was Team Tac owned by Gustavo Gastaldi.

At Motorboat Trophy 3 ropes, a test for motor boats, which must overcome different beacons and requires great precision in navigation, Javier Otegui's Weekend boat won.
The Spirit of Tradition trophy went to Jávea III by Pilar Azcón and the Owner of the Year award went to José Manuel Momparler Pechuán.

Rodolfo Tomás Trophy of Optimist and 420

On the weekend of August 19 and 20, the events of the Children's Sailing Week were held with the Rodolfo Tomás de Optimist and 420 trophies. The Optimist event was attended by sailors from clubs in the Region (Club Altea Yacht Club, El Campello Yacht Club, Santa Pola Yacht Club, Real Club Náutico Calpe, Real Club Náutico Dénia, Club Náutico Oliva, Real Club Náutico Torrevieja, Real Club Náutico Valencia, Club Náutico Dehesa de Campoamor), but also from Catalonia (Club Nàutic Cambrils, Club Náutic Hospitalet-Vandellós) and Murcia (Club Náutico Mar Menor and Real Club Náutico Cartagena) as well as the Club Náutico Marítimo Benalmádena in Málaga.
