El Club Náutico Jávea has everything ready to hoist the sails for the 49th Sailing Week, the sporting-social event of the year, which will begin this weekend with the regattas for children's classes. The 49th Sailing Week will have a participation of 300 sailors between the optimist, 420, Windsurfing classes and the Sir Thomas Lipton and Federico Gimeno trophies for the cruising classes. In addition, this year there will also be a 3-rope trophy for motor boats.
But Sailing Week is not only a sporting comxicotetion but also a time for gatherings and encounters at the club's facilities. One of the most anticipated events of the year is the Paella Contest (on August 24), which last year brought together more than 30 teams; the children's party with traditional games and a snack for the youngest members of the Club (on August 25), as well as the gala dinner to be held on Saturday the 26th, at which the awards ceremony will take place.
For the organization of this 49th edition, the Club Náutico Jávea has the sponsorship of the Living Ceramics company and the collaboration of Coca Cola, Mahou, Novofrio, Marina Sport, Ginebra Alkemist, Teika, Restaurante A Bordo and Toscal Garden Center, which will make it possible a village terrace on August 24 to 26 from 19:00 p.m. to 21:00 p.m.
