This past weekend the RCNV Trophy for dinghy sailing was held at the Real Club Náutico de Valencia and was a scoring regatta for the Autonomous Windsurf Cup and ILCA 4 and 7 of the Sailing Federation of the Valencian Community.
The xabieros, Boronat and Momparler participated in the first test of the iQFoil, dominating the classification. In the U17 category there was Jorge Momparler from CN Jávea, who signed three partial victories and a third, achieved in the first test of the day. With the discard applied he is left with 3 points.
For his part, José Luis Boronat from CN Jávea had no problems in the Absolute, four out of four and first in the table.
There have also been no surprises in the ILCA 7. Those who should be there are, in the case of local Pablo Bellver (RCN Valencia) first with 6 points, followed by Adriana Castro (RCN Torrevieja), first female) and Adolfo Virgili (RCR Alicante) occupying third overall and second among the boys.
On the second and final day, Momparler and Boronat are proclaimed iQFoil champions. In the iQFoil class the title has a marked Jávea color, since two of its representatives won the Valencian trophy and the regional scepter: Jorge Momparler does it in the U17s and José Luis Boronat in Absolute.
