El Javea Town Hall, based on a claim created after the boom of the practice of certain water sports, has beached a channel at the southern end of the Arenal Beach to make the safety of bathers compatible with the entry and exit of paddle boards, canoes or similar.
In this way, the use of this beach at sport level is compatible with the great influx of bathers, mostly families, who go to the beach in high season.
This channel, independent of the one used by the Canal de la Fontana concessions and the beach, is open to all individuals who have their own material as well as to customers of companies in the sector that organize courses, guided excursions or rent the tables; and it adds to the public services that Arenal has, such as the adapted bathroom, locker rooms or lavapiés.
