Xàbia starts 2020 with the celebration of the celebrations of Sant Antoni and Sant Sebastià

With the entry of the new year, Xàbia starts the festive calendar with two of the most traditional festivals in the municipality; those of Sant Antoni, patron of animals and those in honor of Sant Sebastià, patron of Xàbia.

The programming of both has been presented, this morning, by the organizing commissions and the Councilor for Parties, Kika Mata.

Festivities in honor of Sant Antoni

Those of Sant Antoni, organized by Penya La Burrera, which since its foundation in 1986 promotes a Fira i Porrat for the little ones, they are characterized by the act of blessing of animals in honor of the patron

On the one hand, on the same day of Sant Antoni Abad, January 17, there is a blessing of pets on the seafront, in addition to a parade through Duanes, solemn mass at 12 hours and then procession to the Paseo de La Grava where the pastor will bless all pets. Festivities of Sant Sebastià
