The Department of Servicios Sociales de Xàbia, following the principles of transparency, wants to inform the public about the subsidies that it has obtained during the 2015 financial year, which amount to 387.024 euros.
Of the total, are 356.242 euros which have come from the Government, most of the Department of Equality and Inclusive Policies, which has supported programs such as the Guaranteed Income Citizenship (130.227 euros), the maintenance team of social workers or lines of direct aid or at home (143.500 euros), operation of the AMICS Agency for Multiculturalism (10.167 euros), the "Workshop and mentor d'Estiu"(23.310 euros) or the Dependency Service (22.548 euros). The Ministry of Health has also subsidized the Community Addiction Prevention Unit with 26.500 euros.
On behalf of the Provincial Council of Alicante they have received a total of 30.772 euros that were allocated to primary care and service home help and financial aid (19.614 euros), activities for the Social Revitalization of Barrio del Arenal (2.310 euros) the meeting of Interculturalism (2.220 euros), social skills for the prevention and eradication of gender violence (1.808 euros) a workshop attitude for change (2220 euros), workshops addiction prevention and good use of new technologies (716 euros) and equipment Social Center (584 euros).
The councilman of Social Services, Pepa Gisbert, has highlighted the good management carried out by the staff in the request for these aids, as well as in their follow-up, a job that reverts to the public with a greater offer of social resources and the application of inclusive social policies by the Town hall.
