The Xàbia government team (PP, CpJ and Vox) decided in November of last year to take advantage of the call for a subsidy from the Alicante Provincial Council to help alleviate the crisis generated by the war in Ukraine in SMEs, micro-SMEs, self-employed and other companies.
Along with this aid, the local government also carried out the call for consumer bonds in the month of November and which represented a total injection of 315.000 euros in the local economic sector, and another 315.000 euros allocated entirely to entrepreneurs during the last two months of 2023.
Both the councilors and the staff of the Economic Dynamization and Treasury departments did everything in their power to invest the money correctly and not lose the subsidy, the aid had to reach our companies and the self-employed, it was and is a priority. More than 3000 residents were served and more than 100 businesses that showed up. As of today, the file is still open and being processed, but with only six xicotetions yet to be closed and whose resolution will be completed shortly with a favorable result for the interested parties.

From the government team we do not understand the alarmism that they have wanted to create from the PSPV of Xàbia who at the time decided to ignore this aid and lose the money for the citizens because perhaps it was too much work. We do not understand the need to publicly denounce the existence of unclosed and unanswered files from companies and self-employed workers, from neighbors whom we want to help under any circumstance. We do not understand this hypocrisy, we do not understand the need and we do not understand the constant desire to distort, and even more so taking into account the large number of files referring to subsidies that the Javea Town Hall left more than 12 years of socialist government unanswered.
