The sailors Club Nautico de Javea this weekend they received the recognition 'A Sea of Champions' granted by the Valencia Federation of Sailing Federation. At the event held in the port of Alicante, the Federation awarded Arantza Reig, Rafa Andarias, José Luis Boronat, Julia Miñana, Silvia Sebastià and Álex Ortega.
These awards refer to the 2017-2018 season, in which the Yacht Club sailors reaped great results: Julia Miñana and Silvia Sebastià were sixth in the 420 European Championship; Rafa Andarias was first in the Spanish Cup; Enrique Luján he was third in the 49er Cup in Spain with his teammate Antonio Torrado; Álex Ortega was second in the Spanish Bich Techno Championship, José Luis Boronat was third in the Spanish RS: X Championship and Arantza Reig was the Optimist B regional champion.
In addition, other clubs in the region were also recognized Ana Clavero and Lara Himmes of the Real Club Nautico de Calp for their first and second place in the Spanish Laser 4.7 Championship.
