I had further tests to see if the treatment had been successful and an injection was given in my eye to prevent further damage from the radiation therapy. The medical team was satisfied with the results. and he was able to tell me that everything was fine. Now I will have to have bi-annual check-ups at the hospital and they will give me another injection every four months.
I have lost some vision and the blurry vision in the lower left eye will be permanent, but it is not very serious and I am extremely grateful for the excellent care I have received."

If I hadn't come to Specsavers, possibly this disease would not have manifested itself for a considerable time and the ocular damage could have been irreversible and the cancer could even have spread to other parts of the body.
