El Town hall Xàbia tenders the drafting of the projects for a new municipal school and a second covered sports hall after the approval of the specifications to tender the drafting of two strategic projects for the municipality: One for a new municipal children's school, which goes out to tender with a bidding budget of 34.563,05 euros (VAT included) and the other, a second sports hall to be built on the current Freginal track, with a starting budget of 120.633,61 euros (VAT included).
Municipal School
This infrastructure, which will be located on a plot in the vicinity of the Trenc d'Alba schoolIt follows the guidelines set by the Department of Education and includes two units for boys and girls between 1 and 2 years old; two units for 2 to 3 and as a novelty, a specific classroom for babies.
The municipal department Education raises this new nursery and according to the measures required by the Department so that users can benefit from free schooling from 2 to 3 years and after discarding by its complexity the adaptation of which is open from 1990 . Thus, the classrooms of the smallest will incorporate the toilets inside and there will also be a multipurpose space that can be used as a dining room. A kitchen of their own will be maintained in order to be able to continue offering home-cooked meals to the children.
Second sports hall
The other tender for a sports infrastructure, designed for the plot behind the current municipal soccer field, includes the drafting of the basic projects, execution and environmental authorization for the demolition of existing sports facilities and the construction of the new building sports cover.
This new allocation, initially budgeted at 3,6 million euros, is also proposed following a master plan drawn up by the Department of Sports, with a total area of 4.000 square meters, with two courts where you can play simultaneously, rooms and spaces for different sports clubs and a minimum tier.
With the approval of both documents, the local executive continues making an administrative level way to turn into reality necessary projects with a marked social character. On the one hand, with the public escoleta offers families a basic tool to reconcile the upbringing with working life, this new daycare will add to the new classrooms for 2 and 3 years planned in the new school Graüll, and with the second pavilion, responds to the great demand in local sports clubs.
Regarding the sports building, remember that the plenary approved to present it to a funding plan of the Provincial Council of Alicante (it would be subsidized up to 55% of the cost), so it is a priority to have drafted the projects to process the application.
