Although the day of Carmen, patron saint of the sailors, is the 16 of July, Xàbia will celebrate this day, on Saturday 14 of July with a despertà at 8:30 hours through the streets of the Aduanas de la Mar neighborhood.
A las 12 hours the solemn will take place misa in the Parish Church of Our Lady of Loreto and at the end, on the 13 hours will start the traditional sea procession. The sailors will go to the sea to make the offering to the deceased in the Bay of Xàbia.
