The sailors of Xàbia celebrate the procession by sea to the Virgen del Carmen

The sailor district of Duanes de la Mar de Xàbia has lived this morning the celebration of the procession in honor of the Virgen del Carmen. Dozens of people have accompanied the Virgin in procession after the mass. First, carried by sailors, the image has been transferred from the Parish of Loreto to the fishing port where it has been shipped in Chorroll Zinc.

The patron saint of sailors has gone out to sea accompanied by the parish priest of the Church of Loreto, musicians, neighbors, devotees, visitors and other fishing vessels. On the high seas, in the middle of the bay of Xàbia, the municipal authorities and sailors have made the wreath in memory of the deceased sailors.
