Xàbia colleges celebrate Carnival

The party Carnival It has been present in all the schools of Xàbia. In each of them there has been a different theme but with which students learn new concepts.

On the one hand, the l'Arenal school, with the theme of Peter Pan, a story they study in the center during the school year, held a parade through the streets and Arenal Beach in which the boys, girls and teachers were disguised as the different characters of this classic. Also, along with this theme, from the center's AMPA they completed with sustainable decoration.

The families, together with the pedagogical team of the center, elaborated, by hand, decorations and costumes with recyclable and / or recycled materials.

The car that accompanied them on the tour sported a giant octopus made from a recycled fishing net filled with the waste collected in the Arenal Beach and the Montañar area after storm Gloria, organized cleaning on Sunday, January 26 with the Plastic Patrol Association.

Also, the poster with message For a sea without plastic It was made with recycled plugs and the crocodile with egg boxes that had been used for Christmas to make a tree. The AMPA also highlights the construction of a ship made of cardboard, the jellyfish made of plastic bottles, can nets and plastic bags; "With all this we want to demonstrate that everything can be used and reused."

The Association of Mothers and Fathers of the Arenal school appreciate the collaboration of the Town hall, teachers and parents so that this event was possible and the schoolchildren enjoyed the party. Also note that the students who are part of the center's batucada accompanied the parade with music.

CEIP Graüll

Graüll College based its Carnival on the classic tales. Under the title, 'Europe, a continent of contes'. The students, disguised as different characters from the well-known stories, paraded through the streets of the historic center of Xàbia filling them with color, joy and music, since the students themselves played with the batucada of the school.

CEIP Trec d'Alba

At Trenc d'Alba school, the theme was Els Jocs OlÃmpics de Tòquio, subject that the students of the center study during this course. Each class was disguised as a sport and at the same time they were grouped by countries as if the Olympics were going to compete.

After a tour of the Thiviers area, the students danced the traditional Folia.
