Color, music and fun. This was the parade carnival of adults that took place last Saturday night in Xàbia. After the celebration of the children's Carnival, it gave way to the adult one, starring the quintas and quintas of 2024, dressed as Sevillians and bullfighters.
La Quintà chose this outfit with the sole intention of making it funny, although for many it may have a different connotation. But before this costume, there were more than a dozen original costumes that were submitted to the comxicotetion.
Aladín, Tío Vivo, Hindu, car wash, casino, Avatar, skiers, flock of sheep or bonfires, were some of the original designs that paraded through the streets of the historic center of Xàbia accompanied by music and a good atmosphere.
The cold air that blew almost at midnight did not prevent dozens of neighbors from taking to the streets to enjoy the Carnival party that continued in the Plaza de la Constitución with the performance of the Monte Carlo Orchestra.
During the orchestra's break, the Fogueres Commission jury announced the winning costumes.
