With enthusiasm, joy and rhythm. This is how the traditional parade of carnival Xàbia children's event in which hundreds of people have participated. Organized by the Comissió de Fogueres, the parade has traveled through the streets of the historic center of the town.
The procession left from the Plaza de la Constitución. The participants, children, parents, families and friends have paraded through the main streets of the town with their original costumes until ending, again, in the Plaza Constitución to enjoy the show, Fantasyland.
In the street, a large audience waited for the participants to pass. The parade lasted about 45 minutes, during which the excitement, laughter and music did not stop.
The final touch of this children's and family party was performed by the famous Disney characters, Mickey and Minnie and their dancers. Show that has brought together a large number of audiences. The light drizzle allowed us to celebrate the end of the party.
Costume contest
A total of 30 participants have registered for the costume contest to compete for the financial prize for the best costume in the individual, couple and group categories. The winners have been:
- Individual (50€): Olaya López de dulce.
- Couple (€100): Ainhoa Castell fried egg and cook.
- Group (150€): Paragliders.
