Since 2011 the Javea Town Hall does not receive the payments corresponding to the area of social services that correspond to the Generalitat Valenciana. This was denounced by the socialist deputy Jordi Serra, who asked about the current situation in Les Corts.
Jordi Serra warned that the Department of Social Welfare has not paid aids 2011 and 2012 for the maintenance of the General Social Services in Marina Alta, which in Xàbia assumed a debt of 275.000 euros to which must be added the reduction more than 3 million euros from heading supporting aid aimed at maintaining the General Social Services in the county for this 2013.
Socialist MP regrets "The servile attitude of the leaders of the Popular Party in the region by allowing the Generalitat Valenciana to delay the payment of aid, especially in the area of Social Welfare."
