The full Town hall last night approved the general budget for 2015 -which we already detailed in the following information- with the votes in favor of the government team (PSOE, Xàbia Democrática and Ciudadanos por Jávea) the support of the councilor of Nueva Jávea, Belén Quiroga, and the councilors not affiliated José Juan Castelló, Rosa Cardona and Juan Planelles. The popular abstained and Compromís and councilor Antonio Torres voted against.

Although the focus was on next year's budget, other issues were also discussed that were unanimously approved, such as the agreement with Ecovidrio for the management of glass waste or the awarding of the 4 number of the Municipal Market.

Once the council of finance, Óscar Antón, Made the exhibition budget, José Luís Genovés (PP) intervened to show his dismay at not being called to participate in the drafting of the budget. Popular claimed not disagree with the draft but not being able to take an active part in achieving them, know if well done is and whether it responds to the current situation that needs the municipality.

"You are good guys and we believe the accounts because you do everything right," said Genovés, who regretted that there was no decrease in taxes. Anton replied by inviting the PP to take sides in the budgets "by the relevant administrative route" and presenting "partial, entire amendments or a complete project".

Who, if he was stung more than the budget went to Vicent Chorro who knows this area as it was the previous council of finance in the last legislature. The mayor of Compromís with 2011 data in hand, said revenue from taxes and fees "is the same as then" -36 million euros and said that, however, municipal revenues had increased 400.000 euros 2013 and 2014. With this, Anton Chorro encouraged to do the calculation and when I come out right, included a section on investments in the draft that would include a "ilusionador project" that would encourage citizenship. On this, he said missing dinamizasen projects as if society had done in previous governments.

Oscar Antón, responded to Chorro that the City Council is currently paying the credits of some investments "that were not very exciting" as were the rounds and the new municipal building.

Pleno27nov2014_01But the mayor of Compromís did not stay there and argued that, as a member of the Culture Committee, he had not seen an interest in renewing the municipality's sports infrastructure. "I raised it at the time and it was said that it would be studied. The time has come to close the legislature and it has not yet been studied. "

This issue twittered Chulvi who reminded Vicent Chorro that, when they were provided to Xàbia, 15 million euros came to Xàbia from the plans to boost the economy (Plan E of Zapatero and Plan Confianza de Camps), and part of that money "buried underground" in making improvements to the pipeline network of Amjasa and that money "went to other projects less for those that had been requested at the beginning," snapped the mayor.

Other issues were addressed. Quiroja from Nueva Jávea commented on the need to reinforce the police staff, especially during the summer months. The government answered how confined that procedure was and how little they could do about it. Quiroga also pointed to the need to undertake a recycling campaign to properly take advantage of all the green areas that are scattered throughout the municipality. Doris Courcelles, Councilor of Services and Environment argued that "the best possible campaign is all those green dots have installed".

He closed the session a motion by Compromís in which the reopening of RTVV, a motion was passed with the votes of nationalists, the Socialist Party, Citizens and non-affiliated Jávea Planelles, Cardona and Torres claimed. The PP, Nueva Jávea, Xàbia Democratic Castelló opted for abstention.
