The plenary session of Xàbia names Milagros Lambert 'Favorite Daughter' of the town

El Javea Town Hall today agreed unanimously to appoint Favorite daughter Milagros Lambert Kostrinski.

During the extraordinary plenary session, the mayor recalled that the proposal to grant this distinction was made by the group, Enterprising Women Xàbia(MEJ) and The Cultural Association Generator. The request went through the culture committee and was adopted unanimously with three points; Xàbia name her beloved daughter; grant the gold medal Villa in Xàbia and publication in the official gazette of the province.

The vote was secret and marks the current regulations of honors and awards from City Hall and next Saturday, 12 hours at the official ceremony in which the award will be granted will be made. Celebration, open house will be at 12 hours in the plenary hall. Thus, Milagros Lambert, becomes the second favorite daughter a hono I only had so far, the tennis player, David Ferrer.

This enterprising woman artist and editor born in Xàbia the 19 1930 April in a family of French artists based in the Portixol. Surrounded by art books and drawings became interested in art and created his first paintings. Later he entered the College of Fine Arts in Paris. 1953 1959 between realized and exhibitions, some joint works by his grandfather, Louis Lambert André Perret, and his father, Andrew Lambert Jordan. Milagros Lambert has always maintained his links with Xàbia and collaborated with the City in various exhibitions of works from the Lambert family.
