During the plenary session of February, the spokesman for Cs Xàbia, Enrique Escrivà, raised several issues with the local government. As Escrivá pointed out: «This is the last call, which also represents the last opportunity that Xàbia has to develop a project that fits as a Destination Tourism Sustainability Plan, whose deadline ends next Monday, March 6, and despite the low remaining time, we don't know if the local government will arrive in time to present any plan, nor do we know what it consists of. When asked, the councilor for Xàbia Projects, assured that Xàbia had indeed received European funds, 151.400 euros for modernization of the Administration and 361.800 euros for separate collection of bio-waste. However, Escrivá insisted on the issue after not receiving a clear and specific response on the issue raised.
"These programs are the ones that provide a greater injection of financing to carry out projects that have an impact on a more sustainable, modern and comxicotetive Xàbia at the tourist level," insisted the spokesperson for Ciudadanos.
