The Musical Artistic Center of Xàbia continues to grow. And as is tradition, in the month of November is when new musicians who join the band and the orchestra are welcomed.
This year there are five young people who have joined the musical group: Laura Bisquert Signes (horn), Vicent Salvà Buigues (percussion) and Pau Pastor Morató (trumpet) are already members of the band while Adaya Lucas Portillo (violin) and Lucía Cholbi de Lamo (violin) join the orchestra.
Last Saturday, the band made the festive parade in which each year they pick up the new musicians in their homes, staging the welcome to the musical family. In this act also participated the Muse of the 2019, which is the girl Eva Cardona Ferrer.
This was the first of a complete commemorative program with which they pay homage to Santa Cecilia, the patron saint of musicians.
Santa Cecilia Concerts
This Saturday, November 16th, the concert calendar starts with that of the Jove Band, which will perform at 21:30 hours in the St. Bartholomew's Church.
Next week, Saturday November 23that 21:30 hours in the church, it will be the time of the Band of the Musical Artistic Center, directed by Carles Samblancat.
On Friday, December 6, at 21:30 p.m. and at church San Bartolomé, the Orchestra will close this extraordinary series of concerts.
