Before the 16 hours, dozens of people waited in the Paseo del Puerto de Xàbia to obtain their glass bottle and join the progrifo campaign promoted by the municipal company of Agua- Amjasa, Més aixeta i menys plàstic, which aims to promote water consumption in Xàbia and also reduce the use of water
plastic.
In total, hundreds of citizens have shown their commitment to recycling by providing three plastic bottles in exchange for a glass bottle. The containers contributed by the neighbors have been deposited in a selective container, thus collaborating with recycling. The Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, has been present at this event.
Both from Amjasa and from the Javea Town Hall They bet on making use of water as a basic necessity and affirm that Xàbia's drinking water complies with all the quality for human consumption. In this sense, the campaign Més aixeta i menys plàstic it emphasizes that drinking from the tap is comfortable, economical and ecological, since it neither consumes fossil fuels nor generates containers that increase cross-contamination and urban solid waste.
The next appointment so that citizens can get their glass bottle in exchange for three plastic will be tomorrow 25 November sunday, at 11 hours, on the Paseo David Ferrer full Playa del Arenal, in the vicinity of Los Remos Restaurant and on Friday 30, the last distribution will be made in Plaza Constitución starting at 11: 30 horas.
