President of the Valencian government, Ximo Puig, held a meeting with the Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, In which he pledged that in the budgets of 2017 has a budget line for the construction of the indoor pool for Xàbia.
In the interview that maintained the two socialist leaders he spoke of the commitment that is pending with Xàbia Valencia. A debt dating back to 2005 when the agreement for the construction of this sports facility as demanded by the neighbors was signed.
Chulvi used his visit to Valencia to explain to the President the terms of an agreement by which the Javea Town Hall He was responsible for building a trinquet exchange the Government should take over the construction of the indoor pool.
A convention has been fulfilled in the portion corresponding to the session but is still pending by the Government.
With the arrival of the Valencian socialist government it was expected to be included in the budgets of 2016 the intended Xàbia pool money, but did not. Now, everything indicates that it will be in the next year when can be carried out construction of the pool.
