The President of the Generalitat and general secretary of the Valencian Socialists, Ximo Puig, announced this Friday in an act of Health in Dénia that "the reversion of the Department of Health of Dénia is activated and is already irreversible". In that sense, Ximo Puig has indicated that "Who has to lead the Valencian public health and guarantee equal opportunities must be the Generalitat".
The socialist leader has stated that he has a clear objective, "guarantee the best health care to all the people of this Community". This is what Ximo Puig has said in an event in which the Councilor for Health and list head at Les Corts Valencianes has also participated for Alicante, Ana Barceló, the general secretary of PSPV-PSOE in the province of Alicante and candidate for Les Corts Valencianes, José Chulvi, and the candidate for the Mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt.
Management model
During the meeting, the President of the Generalitat stressed that "The future management model of the Department of Health of Dénia will be based on the general interest of all citizens, and therefore, make the necessary investments to provide primary care so that this region receives what it deserves". Thus, Ximo Puig, recalled that "The attempt to privatize the health that the PP undertook was a failure" and has ensured that "Privatization is the only thing that makes is to turn the situation of a person before the disease in a situation of inequality and we bet for the equality of all citizens in the face of the disease", has remarked.
The socialist leader has also indicated that what has been done during this legislature in terms of health has been "Allocate more resources in public health, improve care and, above all, attend to emergencies." For this reason, Ximo Puig has put in value "The public health system we have, both in Spain and in the Valencian Community" and has insisted that "We have extraordinary health professionals and universal free care for all"Therefore "We must continue in that excellence".
Waiting lists
On the other hand, the leader of the Valencian Socialists has also announced the creation of a "Unique command" coordinate, control and evaluate the status of waiting lists in all departments of the Valencian Community, as, as explained "There is an obvious problem". For this reason, he highlighted that "We will end this situation with more self-confidence, more synergies among all the departments, and giving solutions of direct election to each person, so that each person chooses when, how and in what way".
Improvement of working conditions
On the other hand, the leader of the PSPV-PSOE, during the meeting, also stressed that will develop a Statute of the researcher and health researcher during the next term with which "Improve working conditions and guarantee the stability of the researchers". The Minister of Health, Ana Barceló, has insisted that the president of the Generalitat "He gave his word and we have complied: We have initiated the reversal file of the Department of Dénia". For his part, the general secretary of the PSPV-PSOE in the province of Alicante, José Chulvi, has put in value the work done in the Marina Alta region and has indicated that "Ximo Puig is a person of his word, thanks to his work during this term, the Department of Health of Dénia will be public, the textbooks are free and the pharmacy copay has been finished".
