The municipality of Xàbia is one of the 114 in the province of Alicante that will benefit this year from the Joint Employment Plan of the Valencian Public Administrations, which plans to generate a total of 764 jobs.
The provincial government has given approval to the distribution of aid, amounting to a total of 2.400.000 euros and shall be borne equally the Provincial Council of Alicante and Valencia.
This amount should be also added the contributions made municipalities benefit for the hiring of the unemployed, so that they are financed three equal parts.
The amount of the subsidy can reach up to two-thirds of wage costs. Improvement and building maintenance, upgrading and maintenance of urban public spaces, public transport or activities affecting waste management, water management and protection and maintenance of natural areas are some of the services that can be hired.
Leisure and cultural services tourism promotion or custom services daily basis as child care also fall into this call.
Candidates for jobs, which will be selected by the municipalities themselves, must be unemployed people registered in the centers of the SERVEF at the time of publication of the call. Contracts will be at least two months long.
In the Marina Alta, has joined this program the municipalities of L'Atzúbia, Alcalali, Beniarbeig, Benidoleig, Benigembla, Benimeli, Benissa, Benitatxell, Calpe, Denia, Gata de Gorgos, Javea, Lliber, Murla, Ondara, Orba, Pedreguer, Pego, Els Poblets, El Ràfol d'Almúnia, Sanet and Negrals, Senija, Teulada, La Vall de Gallinera, La Vall de Laguar and El Vergel.
Last year the number of municipalities adhered to this same plan was 102 and the amount provided as grants amounted to 1.815.329 euros.
