May 29 from 2020 - 18: 56

El Javea Town Hall It has extended the contract with the Red Cross for surveillance and rescue on the beaches of the municipality. The contract for this important service expired at Easter this year and it was planned to put it out to tender again, but the approval of the Alarm State and its extensions have paralyzed the public bidding processes.

Thus, the City Council, based on an article from the State of Alarm itself, has been able to extend this contract for another year and the Red Cross lifeguards will return in a few days to take care of safety on the beaches. The service will start in Arenal and will progressively be extended to La Grava, Barraca, the Benissero and the granadella.

Likewise, as announced in this medium about the adaptation of beaches for the summer season, the coastline already has the beacon installed, in whose repair 12.000 euros have been invested.
