Xàbia definitively approves the improvement of the RPT of the Local Police

November 23 from 2023 - 12: 30

El Javea Town Hall held, this Thursday morning, an extraordinary plenary session in which the declaration of availability and replacement of budgetary credit was discussed to provide the specific complement to Local Police agents and officers.

This point on the agenda, in which the improvement of the specific complement in the List of Jobs (RPT) was unlocked, has gone ahead with the votes in favor of the Popular Party, Ciudadanos por Jávea (CpJ), Vox and PSOE , and with the abstention of Compromís.

It should be noted that this measure had been highly demanded by the Local Police officers themselves, who carried out various protests in front of the doors of the City Hall demanding a salary improvement. Finally, the approved agreement will also guarantee the correct functioning of local security.

I understand that if they charge more they will work more. We will finally have a police presence in all of Javea or only in the
Town and port? The money destined for weapons and equipment for the elite police force (that's the feeling they convey until you realize that they direct traffic) could have been used for this instead of taking it from our taxes in exchange for nothing.

Let's remind the bosses that taxes have a final nature and raising the police's salary for tantrums does not imply more security because they should take that item out of the politicians' salaries.

  2. FRANCISCO says:

All that remains is to fill the positions of all the Local Police who have retired for more than four years and to have more security and police presence on all sides.

    • Be careful... says:

      Hahahaha
      Police presence?
      Never!
If those spots are filled, which I doubt, you'll see more police cars zooming around, doing their personal thing.
His arm out of the window, and his sunglasses, like any other polygon thug.
The least loved local police in Spain…why is it?

  3. To know it, listen says:

And have they been penalized for improperly fining many neighbors for their misdirected tantrum? And are they going to take more and be seen to convey a little security?

  4. Leandor says:

Until the next blackmail, for which we citizens will pay again.
Tomorrow I will go dressed as a clown to the Workshop, to see if they will raise my salary.
    I'm sure lucky, right?

Let's hope that now that everything will be correct, the municipal police will change the attitude they have towards ordinary citizens.
