A budget of 37 million euros for the municipality of Jávea in 2014

In the plenary session last Tuesday, among other points, the budgets for next year 2014 were approved with the votes in favor of the government team (PSOE, Xàbia Democrática and Ciudadanos por Jávea), the abstention of the Popular Party and the vote against Compromís per Xàbia and the non-attached councillors. The budget available to the Town hall of Jávea will be 37 million euros and the departments that have seen their items increase are maintenance of parks and gardens, tourism, sports, culture and education.

200.000 euros are included in the investment section (apart from participatory budget investments) that will be used for the rehabilitation of the central cinema, buying new books for the library, buying cars for the police or equipment for the improvement of energy efficiency. Regarding the motions presented during the plenary session, the proposal by the nationalists to support the coastal train from the Marina Alta to the Safor was unanimously approved, as well as the one they presented that shows the commitment of Jávea in the fight against gender violence. The motion against the closure of RTVV was also approved with the votes in favor of Compromís, PSPV and Ciudadanos por Jávea, the vote against the PP and the non-attached mayors and the abstention of Xàbia Democrática.
