There are barely two weeks left for the big date, the granadella Trail Costa Blanca. This eighth edition will be held on February 6. The mountain race takes place in a magnificent environment offering spectacular views to the runners during the course.
The Mountain section of the Club Atletisme Llebeig Xàbia, in charge of organizing this event, has prepared two new routes, one of almost 22 km and the other of 14 km, which pass through the Forest Park of Granadella.
Complying with all current health measures, the Granadella Trail 2022 returns to make the athletes enjoy.
Courses
El 21,5km course de la Granadella Trail begins with a long ascent followed by a vertiginous descent to Cala de la Granadella, the journey will continue with the ascent to the Les Teuleries path to connect with the circular route through the Castell Granadella and the cliffs. From there, continue along the path of gurugú that will lead to an ascent and another descent until the arrival at the finish line.
El 14km course runs through ravine, beach and pedrero. The start begins with a long climb followed by a vertiginous descent to Cala de la Granadella. From there it will be linked through the interior of a ravine with the ascent to a short but demanding quarry. A concrete descent and ascent will follow and the arrival at the finish line will be through a paved descent, undoing the path started at the start.
