The Círculo Podemos Xàbia has presented by means of the entry to the registry a request about the actions that are going to be carried out in the project of the littoral path. We can Xàbia, after having agreed on its assembly, has made a request in which it asks the Javea Town Hall that it develop telematically a true citizen participation for a vote-binding consultation to this project of the path of the coast as well as for future important consultations of the municipality.
"For the vote of the path of the coast, the residents of Xàbia want to decide the project that citizens like best, of all those projects that the commission approves and considers that they are suitable for execution. We also want to decide with the possibility of not intervention, as it is but without parked cars ", affirm from Podemos Xàbia.
Likewise, Podemos Xàbia has shown by means of a letter its satisfaction for the decisions taken so far by the consistory. In the first place, the Circle of Podemos Xàbia declares to be in agreement with the new denomination of this project, calling itself the path of the coast and not, paseo del Montañar.
As they point out from the Podemos circle, "The name already leads us to carry out an intervention with the least possible impact on the natural, sustainable environment and that its purpose is to be able to better enjoy our Xàbia Bay".
Also, Podemos Xàbia appreciates, positively, the efforts of the City Council with the participation of the College of
Architects and Engineers, Channels and Ports of the Valencian Community along with the municipal technicians in the commission for the bases of the international contest of ideas for the Path of the coast.
"We understand that the contribution of professionals is to be able to develop this contest of ideas with greater impact and thus have more participation, as well as a better assessment of the projects presented in accordance with the laws on costs, sustainability and road planning. In addition, we suggest maximum information to the municipal planning council as a platform for citizen participation ", they emphasize from the group of Podemos.
We are not more vacationers / visitors or long-term residents, (I understand a lot more than possible javeanos voters) of this project that much damage the natural beauty of the Bay of Javea as some right we should offer face to vote (when we operate / INTERNET) because I understand that we are proportionally important contributors for all taxes / IBIS, large consumers of supermarkets, bars, restaurants, shops, marina, etc., and other services, in addition to verdadores advocates current Javea ???

I totally agree to keep the name of FIRST MOUNTAIN as it has always been called and not having, I understand, any urgent need to be called in any other way.
If I consider and very much, the cost of the work to be carried out, the cost of its maintenance (for example, anticipated damage after the storm a few days ago ???) but more importantly, VERY POSSIBLE destruction of the NATURAL value, so attractive, that It has that area… .and also where are the cars that cannot park in said Montañar going to be put… .one more prohibition? .Fundamentally, that area is only saturated with parking in July and August and mostly by residents / users of bars, beach, etc. from the same area or other vacationers who come to walk, to the beach bars that have been the GREAT ATRATION of this summer - it would be another job creation loss (one more !!!) and finally:

Erika, I told you that I participated in the assembly that we agreed to present this paper and the intention was and is to highlight the substantial difference between Senda and Paseo, due to environmental issues. I think we will always call it Montañar.
Good idea to request that neighbors also be those who think about this path project. And a stupidity to change the name. Do not like First Mountain? How silly and what a mania to change names !!
