El Town hall of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell has detected a lack of information and contradictions in the Territorial Action Plan for the Coastal Green Infrastructure (PATIVEL), a document drawn up by the Ministry of Housing, Public Works and Territorial Structure.
Due to the lack of information, the town council has organized a conference open to all citizens to raise their doubts. This appointment will take place next 15 in February, at 19 hours, in Espai Abiar and will be taught by agronomist Jesús Reina.
Meanwhile, the consistory has transferred to the Consellería its allegations to a document to which all the municipalities of the coast of the Marina Alta have found errors and little definition, being one of the allegations; the little concretion of the PATIVEL cartography, carried out on a too high scale and that, moreover, is outdated since it does not reflect the current urban reality.
Like other municipalities in the region, the Poble Nou de Benitatxell warns that the Ministry has not included a report on economic sustainability and expected compensation that may arise from the urban changes and contradictions between the PATIVEL and PGOU of municipalities.
PATIVEL affects Cumbres del Sol
Another allegation of the Benitatxell City Council is that this coastal plan ignores the fact that in 1975 the partial plan was approved The top del Sol, which, to this day, is executed and built for the most part. That urban land would be affected by the PATIVEL which, according to the municipal legal services, entails a contradiction and would prevent the development of fundamental uses for the economic and tourist development of the municipality, such as hoteliers.
In addition, the document includes in the category of natural beaches the three of the municipality, the Moraig, the dels Testos and the Llebeig. The City Council warns that the Cala del Moraig has always been considered an urban beach and offers services of the beaches such as umbrellas and hammocks, rental of scooters or restoration. In view of this, the consistory defends that this beach, in order not to harm its users, maintain its current uses, endowments and services, as well as the parking area.
