El Town hall of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell has complied with the Expenditure Rule of the Law on Rationalization and Sustainability of Public Administrations and is up to date with the obligation to render its annual accounts before the Sindicatura de Comptes de la Comunitat Valenciana.
The agencies that supervise the local haciendas included the poblero consistory among the entities that are doing good economic management and that meet all sustainability parameters. The City Council is, therefore, in a position to undertake ambitious projects and investments that improve the quality of life of its neighbors.
The positive 1.784.270 euro cash surplus from March of 2016 will increase when cash is re-cashed. Never before has the City Council gone through such a favorable economic situation to carry out public investments. Hence, the local government (Movimiento Red, PP and Pideb) insists on this beginning of the year in which this good economic management must be translated into works that benefit all the neighbors.
The government team needs to promote projects that are financially sustainable and that comply with this premise of the Expenditure Rule.
It seems that the people in charge of Ajuntament de Xàbia can not say the same thing. Much transparency but on the municipal website does not appear, by any side, what the municipality still owes. We will have to wait for the figures published by the Ministry of Finance.
