Foreign residents will be informed of their tax obligations

10 December 2013 - 00: 00

Next Thursday, December 19 at 19:00 p.m. In the Casa de la Cultura there will be an informative talk organized by the Resident Attention area of the Town hall of Jávea, represented by Óscar Antón. This meeting will clarify the most common doubts about the fiscal obligations that residents in Jávea must assume as owners as well as the need they have to have a NIE (Identity Number of Foreigners). This number is necessary to identify and differentiate you from other people who may have your same name and last name and who is necessary to interact with the Administration.

The NIE, in addition to being an indispensable tool to avoid tax collection difficulties to the City Council, is also essential so that the resident does not become someone "not reachable" for the administration and their property is removed or seized. In addition to clarifying all these doubts and advising in the process of obtaining an NIE, the Help Desk will also talk about the fiscal calendar and the personalized payment plan proposed by the City of Jávea.
