The ediles, Femenia and Segarra request the expulsion of the councilors of Compromís de Benitatxell

09 March 2018 - 12: 06

The mayor of Poble Nou de Benitatxell, Josep Femenia, and the councilor Manolo Segarra, have sent a memorandum to the Committee of Guarantees of Commitments so that this agency has all the documentation on the maneuvers carried out by its three councilors in the municipality, who has been opened disciplinary proceedings for filing a motion of censure with a mayor processed by corruption and a defector of the PP.

Femenia and Segarra remember that to them, Compromís, yes they expelled them "the only reason to ignore the demands of these people", referring to the three councilors who have now agreed with the councilor Nieves García, imputed by presumed false documentary, fraud and administrative prevarication, and with the popular defector Antonio Colomer.

These statements go back in the past mandate, when there was a confrontation between Femenia and Segarra with their then party comrades, a sector led by the current municipal spokesman of Compromís, Miguel Ángel García, to whom the signatories of the motion of censure "illegal" they postulate as the new mayor, ended with the expulsion of Femenia and Segarra.

That is why now, these two councilors request that "act with the same energy with which they acted against us for much less and proceed to the expulsion of the councilors of Compromís de Benitatxell" and they add that "investigate the performance of the local collective", since the signatories of the motion of censure affirm that they had the backing of their executive.

Femenia and Manolo Segarra they bring the judge's writings about the document falsification, the fraud and the administrative prevarication allegedly committed by the mayor Nieves García, when he was the first deputy mayor of the PP, "since it allegedly falsified the signature of the secretary in endorsements and payments to a company and caused an economic hole of half a million euros".

The mayor and Manolo Segarra also provide the communications from the Alicante provincial leadership of the PP in which they indicated to the town hall that he had expelled his mayor Antonio Colomer, who therefore became non-attached and a defector.

The letter to the Committee of Guarantees notes that the three councilors of Compromis have not desisted to move forward with the motion of censure despite the municipal clerk has not processed it to the absence "quorum" enough, since the electoral law, as far as the antitransfuguist pact is concerned, does not give value to the signature of a defending councilor.
