The works of Tomás Sivera arrive at the exhibition hall of the Diputación de Alicante

25 works by the artist xabiero, Tomás Sivera, framed under the title Displacements they look in the room exhibitions of the Provincial Palace of Alicante. From today 14 of March and until next 14 of April, the paintings that mark the emigration of the citizens will form this exhibition.

In the presence of the Deputy of Culture, César Augusto Asencio and the Mayor of Xàbia and socialist spokesman in the Diputación, José Chulvi, Tomás Sivera has inaugurated this important exhibition.

Elaborated with the technique Fumage, each work represents a different way of moving in which the human figure is the protagonist of the work together with the colors that accompany it.

Sivera explained that in each painting the moving figure is shown as a means to achieve something, "The play of color with the black figure represents the tension between movement and stillness", explains the painter xabiero.

Several of these works will be part of the exhibition that will open next August in the Casa del Cable from Xàbia. Tomás will be able to show the success he is having with this style of painting in his homeland. And it is that, since he began to create works impregnating smoke as the main material, there have been several awards won in different painting contests.
