The Moros i Cristians festivities have returned, this weekend, to the streets of Xàbia. The celebration of Mig Any has revived the Moorish and Christian marches with the entrances of the filaes. The first took place on Friday night, thus marking the beginning of a holiday weekend with the presentation of the new positions for the 2024 holidays.
Saturday morning continued with the celebration of the filaes lunch and later the second entreeta that filled neighbors and visitors with joy and laughter.
At noon, the Mig Any gala took place where the names of the new captains were announced, which this year falls to the filà Baharis and they will be Txema Bengoa and Amaia Arrausi. Likewise, the new standard bearers have also been officially named: Lucía Serrano and Vanessa Garrido.
Wish I had known about this before the weekend. We missed it.
