The youth of the region will have until May 31 to register for the third edition of the Young Talent Contests organized by the Xarxa Jove Marina Alta. This new edition of the call will be dedicated to the modalities of singing, urban dances, monologues, short theater, short film and magic.
In addition, this year the contest also has two types of awards, as happened last year, Jury Prizes: € 250 awarded to the best performance in each category and Popularity Award: € 80 awarded to the participants who authorize the publication of their performance on the MACMA YouTube Channel and receive more I like it.
From the Xarxa Jove Marina Alta, as the president of the organization Aitor Llobell, Councilor for Youth of Teulada Moraira, has clarified, it has wanted to encourage the youth of the region to participate in the modalities that the call offers. Likewise, it has valued very positively that after nearly four years of operation, the Young Network has consolidated proposals such as the talent show and has valued the importance of developing joint policies on Youth matters among the municipalities of the region.
In fact, this new edition of the talent contest is proposed to enhance the initial project and again promote the revitalization of the young people of the Marina Alta and, at the same time, provide them with a platform to spread their talent.
This contest will be subsidized by the Institut Valencià de la Joventut within its subsidy line on healthy educational leisure programs, for the year 2021.
The bases can be consulted in the different Youth Information Centers and Town Halls of the Marina Alta, as well as the headquarters of the Cultural Association of the Marina Alta in Ondara.
With the words of the president of the Xarxa Jove, Aitor Llobell: "This contest has been reinvented to adapt to the circumstances we live in, the last edition was a success in networks that served as a platform for the young talents of the region. This year again the COVID will mark this event, but the Xarxa Jove has to continue supporting new talents that may come out. "
