Júlia Leyda (children's queen 2023): "I'm looking forward to the holidays but I'll be sorry that they're over"

09 June 2023 - 07: 00

Luck wanted Júlia Leyda Vallés to fulfill her dream, to be Regina Infantil de les Fogueres de Sant Joan de Xàbia. A wish that Júlia asked her relatives a few years ago and that after the pandemic has come true.

And it is that, to this young woman who is in 4th grade at the CEIP Trenc d'Alba and who likes to dance and play the piano, she had always lived the festivities from the outside, going to the acts like any other citizen and getting to know the party and the atmosphere from a group of friends, but her dream was to be one of the girls that she represented the Sant Joan festivities.

So, when the moment of the election arrived, the ball that contained the name of Júlia was chosen by her predecessor, Ariadna Serrat, to be the children's queen of 2023. A moment that she is looking forward to and will see come true tonight with the act of its proclamation, "of all the acts that I most hope will arrive is the one of the proclamation with the imposition of the band, that I will be accompanied by my friend Joan Bisquert, although I also really like the day of the floats Julia points out.

The nine months of preparations have also been special for the 2023 children's queen, "I have handled the preparations very well, with great joy and above all because I have made new friends. My ladies, the presidents of the Youth Commission and the charges de la Quintà we have formed a family. These months we have been together and now we are going to have a great time at parties".

In the face of these lived memories, many more will be added. During these days unforgettable moments and experiences will be lived. For Júlia, this reign is like a gift "and I will be very sorry that the festivities are over", she said shyly when thinking about the end of these 15 holidays.
