La hermitage of Santa Llúcia This Sunday a multitude of pilgrims have gathered who have climbed the mountain of the same name to celebrate the festival of Santa Llúcia.
Before the foremen began the day with an audible "despertá"For the old town of Xàbia. Later on, the pilgrimage began, going up to the chapel where the mass was celebrated by the auxiliary of the church of Sant Bertomeu, Marlon Palacios.
Once the celebration proceeded with the procession with images of Santa Barbara and Santa Llúcia.
The celebrations ended with chocolate and sneakers for almost 1.000 pilgrims who went up to the chapel of Santa Llúcia. In this celebration municipal representation was formed by the councilman Festival, Antonio Miragall and the mayor of Civil Protection, Jose Luis Luengo.
