Xabieros athletes continue to show race after race to be in the elite as far as popular races are concerned. On this occasion, in the VII Popular Course of Calp, they returned to shine setting an interesting hand in hand between those who play in the Llebeig Athletics Club Xàbia; García Barragán and Moha Rida and those who are members of Club Dénia Corre; Adrián Hadri and Youssef Ahatach.
The winner of the event was the independent athlete, Tomas Marcinek, who surprised everyone, and with a time of 29: 36, he entered the first one under the goal arch. The second place was for José Manuel García Barragán with an 29 brand: 47. The third to arrive was Adrián Hadri with an 29 record: 50. The fourth place went to another Xabiero, Youssef Ahatach who made a time of 29: 59. Moha Rida finished in seventh place with a 30 time: 42.
Who does not fail race after race is Mª Isabel Ferrer, of the Athletics Club Llebeig Xàbia, which was the best of women. Ferrer entered the finish line with an 32.53 mark. The second was the independent athlete, Ana Berglind, with 35.07 and the third in goal was Diana Freire, with an 36.43 brand.
