The Valencia Book Fair hosted, on Wednesday, May 1, the presentation of the book 'The Secret of the Pansa' by the writer and journalist Empar Ferrer. The book tells, by the hand of Diana, the protagonist of the story, the children and adolescents how they discovered the agricultural miracle, also the hard work of the grape, the fascination of the landscape of the Marina Alta and Batiste, the soulmate who The protagonist finds well away in time, not in life.
Together they will visit the most emblematic places of the splendor of the raisin: riuraus, dry stone margins (now declared a World Heritage Site), the "Magatzem dels anglesos" and the port of Dénia, the figurehead of the Pepe Tono pailebote pasero (currently is in the Soler Blasco Museum de Xàbia), the stately home of the Sultana de Xàbia and the Church of Poble Nou de Benitatxell.
The story is based on feelings, which are what guide the journey of the protagonists. Diana will discover
the secret of the raisin and with it, the way to overcome a great loss and reunite with your ancestors. The story is edited by El Bullent y el Town hall El Poble Nou de Benitatxell. The secret of the pansa is illustrated by Cristina Durán, and reveals the traditional process of Scheldt of the Pass of the Marina Alta, recently declared a Property of Intangible Cultural Interest.
