Secretary General of the Valencian Socialists, Ximo Puig, chairs the Forum Obert Marià Iglesias of Xàbia

Xàbia Socialists held Thursday at the Parador Nacional de Turismo, the first session of Forum Obert Marià Iglesias, Which calls for professors, journalists, businessmen and senior officials in different fields of public and private action to present their views and discuss.

The leader of the Valencian Socialists, Ximo Puig, attended the first session, which was conducted by Milagros del Corral, former Director General of the National Library of Spain and General ExSubdirectora Culture Unesco, and talked about the digital universe.

Ximo Puig was received by numerous supporters and the general public who strongly participated in the subsequent discussion at the conference of Del Corral.

This is the first of five scheduled sessions, to be held in the months of June, July, September and November and will focus on subjects as diverse as health economics issues, how to read newspapers, quality education and health reproductive.

Next 7 June at the Parador de Turismo de Xàbia will be a new session of the Forum Obert Marià Iglesias dedicated this time to the Health Economics by Félix Lobo, professor at the Carlos III University, who has been CEO Pharmacy and Health Products and President of the Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition.

The Obert Marià Iglesias Forum receives its name from the person who was president of the socialists of Xàbia and councilor of the town hall between 2003 and 2007 who passed away in 2011.
