If this crisis has demonstrated anything, it is the great spirit of solidarity of the citizenry. The El Poble Nou de Benitatxell food bank, managed by Cáritas Parroquial, has received a donation of 600 euros from the Rotary Fellowship Costa Blanca North.
This week, one of its members gave the donation to the Civil Protection volunteers, who were in charge of sending it to Cáritas. The money will go towards the purchase of food for the most disadvantaged families.
